It was indeed a pleasure to purchase a car from your dealership. We were looking for a good used Toyota because they have a great reputation ans we believe that your dealership is living up to the Toyota's reputation as well.

My wife and I were helped in our purchase of a 2006 Avalon by Tracy Gibbs, a new sales rep. with a terrific personality for assisting buyers. He was just learning your cars and did not try to snow us on this fact, so we got along just fine. Also helping Tracy with the sale was Sales Manager Juan Rodriguez. He is a fair negotiator and we were pleased with the deal that we struck with him for our car.

When your Service Manager Alex Palacios needed to get involved for parts that were not immediately available (we were on a tight schedule over the Thanksgiving week), we were glad to see that he made the parts appear at the shop in the to get the car done the day before Thanksgiving.

All in all, we commend your staff for taking care of us and keeping us informed immediately when there was a delay. You have an awesome team and should be proud of their service to customers.

Financially we are struggling and I like that he gives us a discount here and there when we need it. I know my car is in good hands when we leave it there for service. I like the detailed explanation of the services needed or received. All in all, you have a trusted, dedicated employee that displays his wisdom and compassion with clients. Genaro and the entire Frank Smith dealership were professional but yet friendly making it a a great overall experience. We live in Harlingen, but I will travel again to this McAllen Toyota dealership it I ever buy another vehicle.

Professional

"There's a reason!"


My 2012 Prius V is the third vehicle I've purchased from Frank Smith Toyota and there's a reason for it: I love the service! They never mark up the prices of their cars to where I feel like I need to gear up for a negotiation battle; when I go in for service, I've never felt pressured or hassled to buy more than what I initially went in for; and I get freshly baked cookies and a manicure while I wait - shut the hell up it's AWESOME! Plus, they have quality vehicles that I never have problems with and never worry about high maintenance fees like other luxury vehicles. They're dependable, cost effective, and I get compliments on my car all the time. I'd like to think it's because I make my Toyota look good, but deep down I know the truth :) and that's okay.

"I normally don't waste my time...."

I normally don't waste time writing reviews, but this one is well deserved. Personally I used to dislike Toyota, but this is one of the best decisions we've made transportation wise thanks to Gus DeLeon. He wasn't our sales representative, but he took time out of his busy schedule to explain our options and answer our questions in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. If we ever decide to purchase another new car I would go directly to Frank Smith due to there knowledgeable staff.
